PEFC CERTIFIED, THE LARGEST FOREST SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION

Only products made of wood coming from certified PEFC forests, used in an assembly line and marketed by certified companies can contain the PEFC label. Found on a wooden product or a product containing wood (such as paper for example), the PEFC label demonstrates that: the forest owner who cultivated the wood and the forester who collected and transported this wood implemented the practices of sustainable forest management ; all the companies which then transformed and marketed this wood applied the rules of PEFC accountability.

The aim is to guarantee that, at the end of the chain, the products originate from sustainable forests on an environmental, social and economic basis. www.pefc-france.org
